Families, Children and Young People
We always look forward to welcoming families, children and young people to the museum. On this page you will find information about what those visiting with children and young people can expect to see and suggestions to enhance your trip to the museum.
Explorer Bags
On the way into the Gallery you can grab a search and explore bag. It has an activity booklet, ear defenders, soft toy and more for you to use during your visit.
Book and Toys
We have created two nooks with books, toys and activities. Look out for the fire truck table and chair. There are also green folding chairs for adults and young people to use.
Toilet Facilities
An accessible toilet is located on the ground floor. There are two baby changing units. Two toilets have paper towel dispensers. All toilets have children pull down seat covers.
Breastfeeding
Our museum proudly supports breastfeeding families. Feel comfortable nursing or pumping anywhere here. For a more private space or water, please let us know—we’re here to help!
